I had no intention of buying a maternity pillow but woke up with severe back pain at 15w - I’m usually a stomach sleeper and I think struggled to side sleep. I found wedging regular pillows under my mid back helped but it got hot and itchy (sensitive skin). After a week of no sleep I caved and got the butterfly and it’s a LIFESAVER. Way less bulky than other options and not hot overnight. No longer waking up in pain. Saw some other reviews saying it’s ’small’ but I have loads of room (for now at least).
Only downside is my husband likes leaning against it too and I have a bad feeling he’s going to steal it soon…

It’s ok. I like that the pillow isn’t too bulky, however, it isn’t firm enough. After using it for a couple of months it’s quite flat. It doesn’t stop me rolling onto my back. I wake up on my back, on top of the pillow. I wouldn’t purchase again.

The cost is worth the comfortI already had the double sided long body pillow (big U pillow) and it was great for my first trimester but honestly after the 2nd night receiving the butterfly pillow at 19weeks I haven’t looked back. It has been the perfect size in the bed and allows me to toss from side to side freely while supporting my tummy and back! I’m confident I’ll be using it long term!

On my third pregnancy now and I love that it shot huge so doesn’t take up the whole bed while still being supportive of my belly and back. My husband bought it for me as an early Mother’s Day present when I was 5 months pregnant. Until then I had hesitated because of the price, but I was really struggling with a more ‘traditional’ pregnancy pillow.
It made such a difference from day one, getting in and out of bed and finding a comfortable position.
It came with me to the hospital when I was admitted before birth and now it follows me around the house as I nurse my newborn. I have a feeling I will keep using it even when I’m not pregnant or nursing any more. ❤️

I loved it comfort wise. I primarily used it sideways - one half between my knees and one half under my belly. Only downside using it that way is that it didn’t stop me from rolling onto my back in my sleep but I don’t love how it felt using the wings either side (and don’t think I would’ve liked anything else either!). I also got one of the breastfeeding covers. I didn’t really need a breastfeeding pillow but it’s been nice to have on the rocker for extra comfort and glad to find a multipurpose for it.
